"My Secret To Clearer Skin"
Read till the end of the line, I list some helpful tips that might help :)
I have been suffering from acne breakout since 2014 when my bald hair started to grow, it seems like I have some allergic reaction on the process of growing my hair plus some hormonal imbalances that triggers the acne. That is why I tried and tested a lot of skin care products from the least to some expensive products, and I also went to a dermatologist to seek help for my acne problem, but seems like all the products and method I've done is not meant for me.
I heard a lot of good feed backs regarding this Rejuvenating Set by Dr. Alvin professional Skin Care, and this product is all over the metro,this is a super hot deal in the market because of its price. Well at first I was quite hesitant to try this product, because I was bit scared that it might cause me more problem. I bought this for only P350.00 for a set / 1 bag of products. (In my mind derma plus a thousand plus pesos na skin care hindi nag work saken e2 pa kaya ??:D) But yes with no hopes I just want to try this to go with the trend LOL!! Then my journey started.
The first set is called "The Rejuvenating Set" my first impression with this kit, seems like a skin care bought in "divisoria" and all the products are just sample sizes, only the "kojic soap" is in full size. LOL!!
Rejuvenating Set Includes:
Kojic Soap
Rejuvenating Toner
4 in 1 Bleaching Cream
Sun Screen with SPF 15
The packaging is not fancy, it seems like recyclable plastic containers. But they already have a new packaging today which the sunblock cream is in a squeezable tube and the bleaching cream is in a glass container.
My Problem
Acne Breakout
Super oily skin
Dark Spots / Pimple Marks
Because of my breakout my normal skin turns out to be oily to combination skin. But during my first day of use on this product I already experience effects on my skin, which is a good thing. A lot of us seeks for a product that give an instant effect upon using the product and this product will give you that effect.
1ST DAY:
My skin turns out to be so stretch looking but when you feel and touch it is not dry. The oiliness of my face is still there,when I look in the mirror it seems like it is swelling but its not, and I don't feel any discomfort on my face.
2ND DAY:
I can now feel that my face is so dry and stretch it is twice the stretch than my first day , redness is starting all over my face and I can feel already some itchiness .At this point I was bit afraid to continue the product, but I just keep my chances (cross fingers) because I was amazed how fast the reaction of this product on my face. :D
3RD DAY:
My face looks so red and I can feel already a little bit of swelling, much dryer and more itchy ,but the major highlight of my 3rd day is my skin starts to peel. At this moment every time I used the skin toner I felt a slight discomfort because of its burnt feeling, so I used a very small amount, put it on a cotton ball and gently pat it all over my face (PS: do not rub the cotton ball it will worsen the burn feeling)
4TH DAY:
Same feeling and effects I felt on my 3rd day but I already noticed some changes into my skin some of my dark spots are slightly lightening, and it's a good sign for me to keep this product rolling into my face LOL!!
Succeeding days
1 set of the Rejuvenating Set is good for 30 days, so for the succeeding days, it has the same effect from my 3rd day, but day by day I am seeing big changes on my skin. I have lesser breakouts, I have a dryer skin, dark spots are starting to fade and I have a brighter skin.
HOW I USE:
This came with a small paper with instructions on how to use the product, but here's what i did LOL!:D
MORNING
- I never skip every morning to wash my face with the Kojic Soap - This soap is so amazing, after washing your face with this soap it feels so clean and fresh plus it keep my face dry all throughout the day.
- After washing my face with the Kojic Soap next step is I used the toner to clean my face even more. This is a very good toner it really cleans all the excess dirt from my face. If I'm not in the mood to wash my face after removing my makeup with wipes I used this toner to remove the excess foundation on my face and it really works great. Just a little precaution when using this toner, use a cotton ball or a cotton pad and use a minimal amount in your face, then gently dub the cotton ball/pad , DO NOT rub the product specially when your face starts to peel. Because on the process of peeling every time you use the toner you will feel a little discomfort a burnt feeling or intense tingly sensation.
- next after the toner use the SUNBLOCK this has SPF 15 PA ++, even thou you stay at home it is much better to take a precaution and protect your skin, you don't want to get burn from the harmful rays of the sun. This is a VERY GOOD sunblock it has a thick consistency, slightly hard to blend, no smell and it is so good to use before applying foundation because it works like a primer, it has a tacky finish that makes the foundation stay on the face all day long.
NIGHT
- After a long tiring day, at night I wash my face with the Kojic Soap.
- After washing my face I use again the toner
- Then I use the star of the show which causes all the peeling is this 4'n'1 BLEACHING CREAM. It has a little bit of smell, but it's not strong, it's tolerable. It also has thick consistency, hard to blend, but this cream works great on my breakout, it lightens my pimple marks and dark spots plus it slowly bringing my skin back to its normal condition. Little goes a long way with this product, just concentrate on your problem area then gently spread the product all over your face, to get even result of peeling.
NOTE. for this skin care I just notice the colder the weather the more my skin exfoliates, but when I'm in a hot place like manila my skin is moist at walang ganap na pag babalat, So I guess with the peeling effect may big factor ang weather para magkaroon ng bonggang bonggang exfoliation sa face.
If you have a pimple or acne this product will not dry them but instead it will make them "more mature" or "Hinog" :D LOL!! and that's the only time your pimple will start to dry. :)
Until now I am still using the Rejuvenating Set, thou I am already happy with the outcome but I still want more polished skin.
If your a working girl and want to try this product I highly suggest to go and by a good moisturizer, because this can help to lessen the peeling of discomfort due to peeling of face/exfoliation. Plus this will help you less unconscious in your surroundings, this will really helps you a lot to lessen the redness and peeling in your face.
If you are a makeup wearer, and you are using this set and your face starts to peel, I highly suggest to give your face a time to peel and heal, so for a short time stop using a makeup. You can use moisturizer but not those tinted one, no BB creams and foundations because I promise this will looks awful during the peeling process. .

DeleteIt is most likely to have adapalene or tretinoin which leads to birth defects... i am googling about the content if this set and i cant find any. I have a strong felling the are not puting it bec for that reason that people will be aware of it.

ReplyDeleteNo it will not cause peeling. pero it helps wit the peeling process :) hehe,, ones you stop using the cream and just continue using the toner,, hindi kana mag peel off..

ReplyDeleteHi sis if hindi ka naman super nag babalat. try mo itest and BB cream or CC crea, kung okay sayo. or pwede din ang tinted moisturizer,, pero test mo muna kung okay ang effect niya.. Kung hindi mag moisturizer ka nalng , okay lang ang celeteque or Iwhite na brand. :)

ReplyDeleteas of now dear you are now experiencing the result.. but if you are asking yung peeling na ganap .. iba-iba ang effect niya,, for some wala silang ma experience na peeling and for some meron :)

ReplyDeleteHi po mam. Pang 10th day ko na po ngayon. Tapos naman na po ako magpeel last week. Pero sinasabi po sakin lahat ng nakakasalubong ko na umitim daw ako. Ganun po ba talaga yun? Ksi parang d ako pumuputi :(. Nung kayo po ba ilang araw po bago kayo pumuti tas tumigil ung redness? Sana po mapansin nyo to. Maraming salamat po.

ReplyDeleteI suggest na kung sa tingin mo sa face mo may mga pimples pa din at mejoay eneven skin tone pa, rejuv set ka uli for a month then after that proceed to the next phase which is the clarifying set.

ReplyDeleteI suggest na you should continue using rejuv or proceed to the next phase (Clarifying set) kasi babalik sa dati if u discontinue using this product. Naranasan ko na cya. Gumamit ako for 4 mos at natigil ng 3 mos. At ayun bumalik pimples ko at mejo pagka dark ng skin ko.

ReplyDeleteHi po. firstime ko po gumamit ng rejuvinating product pero dinaman sya nagred yung mukha at saka di sya makati at mahapdi kapag naghihilamos ako at naglalagay ng toneR. But when 2nd day na. Ayun sobranv hapdi sa mukha kapag naghihilamos ka. Diko na napapatagal ng 2-3 minutes. Mga 15 seconds lang siguro yun kasi sobrang hapdi tapos kpag nilalagyan ng toner mahapdi din po. Normal ang ba yun? Kasi my friends Po ako nagamit ng ganon pero ang kanila dawnamlit balat lang. ReplyDeleteHi Shelly. Im on my third week using these. Normal ba na nagkakablack heads ako na never ako nagkaron noon. I only have white heads pero not black like these. Prob ko kasi with my skin is pimple marks nlang kya i used the rejuv set. Nangyari din ba to sayo? Maaalis ba sya?

ReplyDeleteIve been using it for a week now and its giving me more white heads and small bumps like your before picture. Is it normal? Is it really like that at first? will the white heads go away after a month of using the rejuvenating set? Pls reply back, I'm debating if I should stop or not.

ReplyDeleteHi, I just want to ask na kung normal yung parang rashes sa leeg. I am already using it for about 2 weeks na eh naglalagay din ako sa leeg para pantay sila. Sensitive yung type ng balat ko maganda yung reaction sa face ko pero sa neck ko meron, nagreredish siya na may rashes parang bungang araw tas mainit sa pakiramdam, ask ko lang kung normal lang yun and mawawala ba yun kasi para siya nagkamarka.
