Why Peripera is one of the best lip tints in the market?

I am not a lip tint person because I find it difficult to rock on the lip tint trend, that is why I am hesitant to try it, but the Peripera lip tints are too hard to resist because they are so cute in packaging, and the shades are gorgeous that is where I got hooked up, and jump on the lip tint bandwagon.

Thankfully my money wasn't wasted because I was love at first swatch with the product. I got two shades in #03 Pure Apricot Coral (cloud ink velvet), and #10 Dry Rose Brown (airy ink velvet).



PRICEPOINT

I shop to different stores the could ink velvet I bought it from shopee, and it cost me P320.00 plus the shipping fee of P73.00 ( I did not meet the minimum amount for free shipping that is why I need to pay for it). The cloud ink velvet I got it from the SM Department Store in the CLub Clio counter which is a bit pricier for the amount of P400.00. But for me, it's more convenient to shop in the store because I was able to swatch and see the colors of each shade. However, when buying online, you can get the best deals and lowest price.

PACKAGING

As I mentioned earlier the packaging of these products is unique and very kawaii. They have a conforming doe-foot applicator that is very comfortable to use.

SCENT and TEXTURE

These products have a scent, but it's not irritating, and they smell like cupcakes. Well, the Dry Rose Brown has a sweet, berry-like scent, and the Pure Apricot Coral smells like a cupcake reminds me of the NYX SMLC.

The Pure Apricot Coral is in the cloud ink collection, and the Dry Rose Brown is in the airy ink collection which they are not similar in texture, longevity, and consistency.

Though they are both velvety, the cloud ink velvet is mousier in the consistency, and the airy ink is thinner in texture.

THE COLOR PAY OFF

Their color payoff is satisfaction where you can go bold for much opaque color, or you can wear it just a lip tint to give your lips a subtle fresh color.

These lip tints are perfect for everyday use, that has the shade of coral and mauve, but they have more lovely colors to choose from.  ;

I am very satisfied with these lip tints that I don't mind paying its cost, so, for me the price is just right, but if you want the lower cost I suggest you shop online and look for the best deals, and you can even ask the online seller for a discount if you plan to hoard all there shades.

Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipsticks review and swatches

I know you guys are not new to hearing the Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipsticks because they are very popular in the beauty market. These lipsticks are one of the most affordable matte lipsticks that are comparable to other high-end brands. Aside from its affordability these lipsticks really give satisfaction to your lips because it is very pigmented, true matte lipstick and lasts on your lips for hours. The price is just right and worth all your money.

I got two shades from the Creamy Matte Browns Collection (696) Burgundy Blush and (660) Touch of Spice, and one shade from their Rosy Matte Collection (Matte 5) Soft Pink.

The Matte Browns and Rosey Matte has the same formulation which is creamy matte, but they have a different consistency.

Burgundy Blush (696) - This lipstick is heavy on the lips that make you feel you are wearing a creamy matte lipstick, but the color payoff is awesome. One swipe of this lipstick gives you a dark plummy color, that is great for a vampy look plus you can also build the intensity of this lipstick to achieve a bold dark color. This shade is the darkest from the Creamy Matte browns Collection.

Touch Of Spice (660) - One of the popular shade of the creamy matte lipsticks. This lipstick has a mauve color with a light feeling on the lips and very pigmented. This shade is not buildable, it's not as bold as the Burgundy Blush, but it is a perfect everyday lipstick which you can use to work, school and to a special occasion.

What I like about with this creamy matte browns they are easy to apply on the lips, it's not cakey or patchy especially the Touch of Spice, it glides on smoothly and stayed on the lips beautifully.

However, the Rosey Matte Lipstick in the shade (Matte 5) Soft Pink the color is beautiful it's my kind of pink lipstick that makes me look fresh and young, but the downside of it is when applied on the lips it leaves patchy effects. Though it has a buttery consistency, this shade doesn't give you a smooth application.

(Matte 5) Soft Pink - has a lightweight feeling and a perfect shade of pink lipstick for people with yellow undertones. But this lipstick leaves a very patchy effect on the lips, emphasizes cracks and dry lips. (This shade is a perfect everyday pink lipstick.)

I am very satisfied with the longevity of these lipsticks because ones applied to the lips it stays for hours. When you eat and drink these lipsticks will still leave your lips a nice stain. What I loved about these matte lipsticks despite being matte they are hydrating on the lips, and that is a plus point for these lipsticks.

Final Verdict

These are one of the best matte lipsticks in the Philippine market that doesn't give you "hole in the pocket", It has a wide variety of colors from bold, muted tones, to nude colors, they are perfect for everyday use, for special occasions plus you can find them at any Maybelline Counters nationwide.

Loreal Paris Lipstick Swatches & Review

These are my first ever lipsticks from Loreal Paris, I have an over all 10 shades Each of these lipsticks cause $3 (P144.00 conversion to PH peso).

The color of the packaging is gold that looks expensive but feels “okay lang”. At the bottom, you can see the shade number and on top, you can see the lipstick shade through the transparent lid.

It has a slight scent (na hindi ko maexplain) but it is minimal and tolerable. Once applied on the lips mawawala din agad yung scent nya.

These lipsticks have a very unique style - a 2D lipstick, two in one product in a single bullet. It has a solid color on the outer and a second color which is a creamy shade on the center.

Their color pay off is not opaque, each shade has a muted color because of the 2D style. (the creamy shade on the center gives each shade a muted tone.)

These lipsticks are easy to slide on glide on the lips. They are very moisturizing and ideal for everyday use.

The only downside of these lipsticks is they don’t last you the whole day.You need to reapply the lipstick after eating and drinking. Though they are very creamy and moisturizing when applied, but at the end of the day still it leaves a slight dryness on the lips. So, after removing this lipstick you better have some lip balm or petroleum jelly applied on your lips for a smoother and softer application of lipsticks on the next day.

S180 Silky Java

The other shade S180 Silky Java (photo shown above) has a solid shade but the color pay off is muted in tone, the same with the other lipsticks.

REVIEW: LA GIRL: Matte Finish Pigment Gloss

These lipsticks has been a rave in the beauty community lately, because of its affordable price that cause  P349 each. They have wide selection of colors and of course it is available everywhere from online shopping and to all local department stores.
                                           

This LA Girl Matte Finish Pigment Gloss has 16 selection of colors from nude to  dark bold colors. It became a sensation to all beauties  because of its intense color and of course its texture that  is so freak'n matte,that when ever you eat or drink, this lipstick will not wear off and will last you all day long, without retouching (OMG!!! how amaze balls is that LOL!!!!:D)

Although the pigmentation is great, and last you the whole day, for me this lipstick still a hit and miss.

These lipsticks has a doe foot applicator that is very flat and stiff, but it can get a lot of products from the tube, which is very good because no need to keep going back and forth inside the tube to get more productz. It has a very simple yet jumbo packaging. :D

                                                        
I just bought 2 shades of this lipsticks the first shade is "TULLE" it has this very intense neon pink color ( I'm all about pink lippies) but this shade is not my kind of pink lipstick.

• This has a blue undertone which makes the teeth yellowish.
• You need to have hydrated lips before applying so that you can get the best result
• I really struggle when applying this shade because it dries so fast, that's why you need to apply it quickly.
• In applying this if possible stretch out your lips and use one direction only. Do not do the wiper motion so that you can get a smooth finish. Do not get too excited in closing your lips, WAIT FOR THE PRODUCT TO DRY.
• Texture is liquidy a little bit tacky on the lips, it does not give me a smooth application it makes my lips so caky which is not pretty to look at. 
• This shade is not good to overlay,  second coat will intensify more the color but it will leave you ugly patches of color.
• The color from the picture is not the same on the real thing. In picture it has a mauve kind of pink but in person it is an Oh!my gosh NEON PIIIINNNKKK.
• .lastly for me this shade is not good for everyday use. 
• despite to all my negative comments with this shade. One good thing about this lipstick is that, it's good to overlay with other shade of lipsticks, specially the darker shades. 

The second shade is "TIMELESS" this shade is very popular because it's a wearable shade which is good for on the go or everyday lipstick.

• This lipstick has a cool undertone
• It is much easier to apply than the TULLE
• Pigmentation is also superb
• It has also a liquidy texture and dries fast, but for this shade I don't need to worry that match because it's manageable. Even thou it dries you can still go ahead and re apply/ overlay more colors on your lips without looking caky or gross on the lips. 
• This has a smoother texture,it's not tacky unlike the TULLE that has sticky finish 

What Does It Feels Like?

This lipstick feels like you are wearing tons of lipstick. Yes girl! I'm not kidding, this lipstick is not lightweight, seems like you painted your lips an acrylic paint (but those kind of HIGH END acrylic paints not those cheap ones LOL!!!:D) 

Eating and Drinking (Longevity)

Here comes the real test for these lipsticks. Although  they are super matte but when it comes to eating and drinking these lipsticks melts into your lips, specially on the inner part . They don't have that superb longevity of a Liquid Matte Lipstick, When this lipsticks melt it feels a little bit tacky and yucky which is not comfortable.

Is it worth the hype?

For me YES specially when you wan't a WOW! KABAM! Matte Lipstick in your Face with a superb pigmentation, this lipstick is worth the hype, besides THIS is much cheaper than the other brands. Plus it contains 0.17oz or 5g amount of product. The secret of this lipstick when it becomes tacky and gross JUST WIPE IT OFF GIRL and RE APPLY THE LIPSTICK!  

At the end of the day this lipstick is very hard to take off, you need a good makeup remover to wipe off all the pigments. But the good thing in here despite of its matte texture this lipstick is not drying at all.

NICHIDO LIPSTICKS REVIEW & SWATCHES || Affordable Lipsticks For Less Than P200.00

I said it a million times, that I have a "thing" on lipsticks, whereas I am always on a hunt for a lipstick that has a good quality and still on a budget.

I already did several reviews on the NICHIDO products from there foundations to lipsticks. I cannot deny that NICHIDO is one of my favorite cosmetic line because most of their products are very affordable.

I have four lipsticks from NICHIDO and I had been using these for quite some time now and I must say that they are "hits and misses"

                              

These lipsticks have the same textures and they have all distinctive smell which is like the sweet buttery scent and the main ingredient is "breeze wax" that is why all these lipsticks are very moisturizing and glide on the lips smoothly. Thou they have the same texture and smell, these lipsticks have different pigmentation and longevity.

This has a very cute packaging reminds me of the 4U2 Cosmetics packaging with the heart details on it and everything girly. On top, you can see the shade of the lipstick which is very convenient because  you can easily see the color without opening the lid, and at the bottom, you can see the name of the lipstick

PRETTY TULIP AND ROUGE BLOSSOM

This collection is my favorite because of its pigmentation. It is also very buttery that is why it glides on the lips smoothly. These lipsticks are the most pigmented and most long-wearing among the others plus the color is buildable. Thou this will not provide you a 24hrs wear but it gives you a good amount of lip stain that can stay on your lips all throughout the day even without retouching. This lipstick cost me P198.00/each.

The packaging of this is very simple, really good for students and to those people who are starting to wear lipstick.

PINK CHAMPAGNE

This lipstick is very good for everyday use because the pigmentation is not too overwhelming, it gives you just the right amount of pigment for everyday lipstick. Very good lipstick for students and office "MOTD" plus it is very cheap it only cost me P75.00 so it's very affordable.  The color is not buildable and it is not long wearing, you need to reapply the lipstick after every snack.

This lipstick is the most expensive looking because of its packaging, but "looks can be deceiving", because this is my least favorite among the other lipstick. I am very disappointed to this lipstick because it cost P200 plus (well I can't remember the exact price, but it is in the range of  200 +) but the color pay off "sucks", even how many times I slapped this lipstick on my lips the color is not showing :( ( well this is not a magic lipstick so it's really disappointing). This is like a tinted lip balm because it is moisturizing and it will give you just a small tint but I will not repurchase this again and won't give a damn P200.00 just for a lip balm :(

PINK ICE

All of the lipsticks are very buttery and glides on the lips smoothly, but the downside of it,  at the end of the day it leaves you a patchy dry lip that is gross and not good to look at. That is why before using this I suggest using some lip balm to keep your lips hydrated all throughout the day. Another downside of it is that this lipstick is not good when reapplying because after 4hrs of wearing your lips will start to dry and creates a patchy gross looking lips, that is why when you want to retouch your lipstick it is better to wipe off all the products on your lips before reapplying the product.

                              

But all of the lipsticks are very affordable and they have a wide selection of colors.

FS Matte Lipstick Review

I have been away for a couples of months but it feels like ages. So I want to be back on track and keep my blogs up to date

This past few months I have an obsession collecting new shade of lippies that's been out in the market.

First on my list is this gorgeous FS lipstick in the shade Orchid, I bought this for P299.00 at SM department store. This is on the FS matte lipstick collection and they have 9 colors/shades for this lipsticks.

Packaging:

The box is a combination of black and yellow and it has an ombre effect, and the labels are engraved in silver color. I think the color combo of the packaging is too overwhelming or in other word the yellow color did not match the entire concept of black plus silver color. (it is much better if they just stick with two color combination.)

Next is the lipstick packaging. I like the combo of this it is matte black with a touch of gold, The vibe of the packaging is very expensive and the logo of FS is also engraved in gold color. Over all its very elegant and sleek .

Product:

The lipstick it self has an engraved logo of FS at the tip of the lipstick and for me that's a plus for their packaging it gives me the feeling that I bought a very expensive lipstick. I got the shade orchid and it has a coraly matte brown color, which is a perfect lipstick for everyday use.

Pigmentation:

I tried to swatch this before buying because I want a lipstick that is matte but its not drying to my lips, (because I had a very choppy lips). By swatching the product it glides on my wrist smoothly, it is very creamy and very pigmented as well, this sold me to buy this lipstick. But when I got home I try to swatch it on my lips and I kinda struggle because this is a matte lipstick. So first I need to prep my lips by dubbing a lip balm before applying this lipstick so that it will have a smooth application of the product.

The color payoff is good, the shade looks like coraly brown. but when already applied into the lips  it is more on coraly-redish-pinkish color . The pigmentation is good it really last me the whole day without retouching/reapplying. 

Longevity and Consistency

Well to test the longevity and consistency of this product I tried several activities on eating and drinking. I must say that I was so impressed with its longevity and consistency, I apply this in the morning and it really last me all day with out retouching.Although when I tried re applying the product, it turns out to be a big mess, because it formulates patches of color at the side of my lips, and that is not pretty anymore. The effect for me is very matte, but it is very light weight and seems like I am not wearing any lipstick.

 Final Verdict:

PROS:

• Worth the price
• Very Pigmented
• Sleek and Chic Packaging
• Good Find Drugstore Lipstick
• Very Matte/light weight
• No irritating Smell
• Last you all day without retouching
• I love this product

CONS:

• If you have dry lips, first you need to moisturized your lips before applying this product 
• Not good for retouching, it formulates patches of colors on sides of your lips.

Over all this is a very good matte lipstick, the price is right for its quality, and it really gives me the feeling that I bought a very expensive lipstick and this really makes me happy.

Lipstick Review (taglish): BYS Lip Duo

I often saw this BYS counter in SM Department Stores but I do not have any items like them.

Since I do not have any BYS on my my make up collection I decided to buy eye shadow palette (swatches coming soon) and these two Lipsticks.

I bought them for P299.00 each and they are the BYS Lipstick + Lipgloss Duo. Each lipsticks contains 2.5 grams amount of product. I think they have 12 shades of these but I only got two of them, in the shade "Sweet Sugar Rush" and "Pearly Peach".

Packaging

They have a very simple packaging, nothing special. Both ends are transparent, where you can easily see the colors on it.

SWEET SUGAR RUSH

• It is a deep pink color, but since it has shimmers when applied on the lips it turns out to be a magenta color.
• It is a satin finish
• Glides smoothly on the lips
• Very hydrating, good to use for those people who happens to have a chappy lips.
• It smells like a Candy Mint
• Nothing Special on the gloss, it only adds up extra shine on the lipstick (which I do not like) because the lipstick it self is glossy already 
• The lipgloss has tiny sparkle or glitters on it

PEARLY PEACH

I really like the color of this lipstick

• It has a hint of orange color, but when applied on the lips it turns out to be nude-ish brown
• Smells like candy
• very hydrating and glides on the lips smoothly
• The gloss is okay to over lay on the lipstick, it does not over power the lips.
• The gloss has shimmers on it
• I like this much better than the other one.

Over all

• A little bit pricey for the cost of P299.00 each
• Not that pigmented
• I do not like the finish and the combo of the "sweet sugar rush"
• I'am not satisfied on there color pay off.

But they are good for everyday use and maybe I will just repurchase the Pearly Peach because I really like the color. But the Sweet Sugar Rush Ughhh!!! Nope because honestly I hate the combo.(this is only my personal opinion about the product)

REVIEW: SanSan HD Lipstick

This is my first ever blog post review on some products I bought that I want to try on. Hope this may help you.

I'm sure most of us, ladies are loving to wear a touch of colors into our lips, so if you are looking for a good lipstick that is affordable  just continue reading....

Finally the Sansan Cosmetics has step up their game and came out with their SanSan  HD (High Definition) Cosmetics which consist of SanSan HD Liquid Foundation, SanSan HD Two-way  Foundation, SanSan HD Concealer and SanSan HD Lipsticks. These products can be found at all leading HBC outlets Nation Wide. If you are interested on these items feel free to visit their outlets, I reside here in Baguio and I think they have two outlets in here 1 in Baguio Center Mall and I got my item in HBC General Luna beside University of Baguio.

HBC is a budget friendly cosmetics store, all of their products are pretty affordable. I want to try their HD Liquid Foundation and HD Concealer but I ended up getting this HD Lipstick, they got 3 shades for these namely: Really Red, Pink Pout and I got mine in the shade Nude Brown. I only got this for only P109.00 pesos, pretty affordable for a tube of lipstick.

Packaging

The product came out in a purple metallic box which it has all the product information and a purple metallic container. The color for me is pretty because I love purple. The container is sturdy it doesn't look cheap. It's cup isn't loose, it collides perfectly to its body so you don't have to worry twisting your lipstick up and messing your makeup pouch and I like that they put the label name and color of the lipstick at the bottom of the container. overall the packaging for me is very good the details doesn't bother me at all.

Scent

I'm very sensitive when it comes to  product scent. But for this lipstick it has this Coconut Scent which I think its been already their signature scent in most of their products. Because I notice that they have the same smell with their foundation and concealers as well. Surprisingly the scent is not that overwhelming so it didn't bother me at all.

Pigmentation

It says in the product information that this product has formulated with Vitamins A+C+E & SPF 15 which I think its pretty good because its not too damaging for the lips.

It also says here that it provides a full coverage in just one application which did not work for me. I need to do 2 to 3 coats before I can see its coverage, and their is only a small hint of brown color on this lipstick but mostly I think the color is on the peachy-pink side ( I think the color is similar to Revlon 415 pink in the afternoon) but still its nude so its perfect for everyday use.

lastly it says here that it has a creamy matte finish yes I agreed on this but its not a total matte finish because it has a little bit of sheen on it but no shimmer or glitter.

Consistency

I have a very chappy lips specially its breezy here in Baguio so I need to apply first petroleum jelly before adding up some color. Having this lipstick on my lips feels slightly heavy, since the formula is somewhat creamy so its a little bit thick which is good because I don't need to retouch on my lip balm because the lipstick is already hydrating so that's a plus for me, but for its longevity for me it only stays on my lips 1 to 2 hrs with out eating and drinking, so for this product you really need to often have a retouch.

My Final Verdict

These lipsticks are good and very affordable so that's a plus, because it's budget friendly. But I don't think that these are HD Lipsticks except for its extra thickness in the formula, besides for a good lipstick nothing beats the price of this. I'm satisfied with the Nude Brown color even though there is only a small hint of brown its okay for me it is still good for everyday use. I hope they will still come out for more shades to choose from.
